Makings during COVID-19

Documenting the stuff that I’ve been making quickly so I don’t go insane during social distancing (or I guess less insane is the right way to put it right??) Since I can’t really cook and can’t find any yeast at the grocery store to try to make bread, just using design 2 cope with feelings :-)

1 — Serina Screams: About Silly Shit She Stands by Strongly

No one asked for my opinion on anything… but that has rarely stopped me before. So basically, every week I take 20 minutes to draw something and dish my opinion on something. Week 1 was about chocolate chip banana bread vs. walnut banana bread (#teamchocolatechip) and I’ve received DMs from people I haven’t spoken to since high school and 2 recipes that people’s moms use.

3 — Shirts to Wear to Confuse People

My friend told me that recently he coughed when at a grocery store and everyone within eye range looked incredibly panicked and all moved away from him super quickly. But, he just had a scratchy throat at the moment!!! So here are two shirts to wear to confuse people. I think maybe it’d be even better if the print of the design was smaller. People would have to be a lot closer than 6 feet to actually read your shirt which is not really allowed so they’d be more confused.

4 — I <3 USPS!!

Currently the 2nd of August. Was thinking about the USPS today since I have to mail out a package on Monday. All the news about the USPS being in danger makes me so so sad. I use to run an etsy shop in high school and the USPS was indispensable. I absolutely love mail people uniforms and spotting the little teeny USPS trucks. Inspired by woodblock prints, here’s my little PSA… and if you want to be pen pals, please reach out :-)

5 — Pen Pal letterheads

Been communicating with some of friends thru letters only so I needed some stationary. Drawn via procreate, printed from my handy dandy printer, signed, sealed (with tape!! 2 be safe!) and delivered via USPS with either a Bugs Bunny, Star Trek or truck stamp! Let’s be pen pals!! DM me @gotserinas

6 — Stickers!!!

I resell my clothes through depop so I’ve been making some stickers as freebies. Drawn sometimes during my meetings 🥴 🥴
